Jumper

ok, so, this is my first post where i can say WELCOME to all who are gonna be reading this, so, WELCOME!!!! I will try to do a spanish version too for all so you won't think i'm leaving my roots behind, but as most of you know, it's easier for me in english, dunno why. So, here goes:

This is it, i'm jumping ship, going of into my new venture. it is time, my last 2 full days in Tijuana and i'm nervous as hell, what will i do on my own? it's been 25 1/2 years at home that it's gonna be a shock to change all this in one moment, and i think i never heard of 'baby steps' cuz i'm jumping to a whole different country! but i don't mind, i know it's gonna help me grow, something i desperately need, to be on my own, to be able to depend on no one.

what i've found very funny is how i can't seem to pack all my stuff! i started on tuesday (today is friday) and i have many things done already, but my room is still a mess! i don't know what i shouldn't take, i'm taking anything i can think of and leaving anything i can think of too, so there's my dilemma... although i DID manage to fit all my clothes in basically two luggages (and an extra bag for the stuff i'm gonna need for the drive up), the rest of the stuff is the one i don't know where to fit!

ok, so the schedule for our trip goes something like this: we're leaving on SUNDAY!!! sadly this will mean me missing most of the Super Bowl, but it helps cuz there won't be that much line to cross or traffic. mom & i are goin to coachella for the nite, from there, with lizeth, we leave on monday to sacramento, on tuesday we'll drive up to portland or 2 more hrs. to seattle (depending on if we're tired or the weather), then on wednesday we arrive in Vancouver! mom & lizeth will stay up there til saturday morning and they will drive back arriving in southern california on monday the 12th. this will mean mom will leave dad all alone for a week, so you people take care of him, ok!!!

anyways, i'm very looking forward to writing my whole experience here and hope you enjoy it as much as i will, once i set up my stuff up there i will post my first blog there, so stay tuned!

ok, primero que nada les doy la bienvenida a todos los que por primera vez leen mi blog. tengo una tendencia de poner el nombre de la canción que estoy escuchando en el momento como 'subject' del blog, y pues, como ya verán, la mayoría de las veces queda con lo que quiero escribir en ese momento, como ahora, estaba la canción de "Jumper" de Third Eye Blind y aunque lo que dice la canción no le queda, el puro título sí, ya me entienden? ok, bueno pues, aqui les va:

JUMPER - Brincador

Ya estuvo, ya voy a "brincar de charco" (aunque nomas voy a brincar a los gringos), me voy a la aventura. ya es hora, solo me quedan 2 días completos en Tijuana y me entran más los nervios, que voy a hacer yo solo??? ya van 25 1/2 años en mi casa y creo que va a ser un shock el cambiar todo en un solo momento, creo que nunca escuché de dar "pasitos" porque me cambio a otro país totalmente! pero no me importa, se que va a ayudar a crecer, algo que creo que necesito desesperadamente, estar por mi cuenta, aprender a no depender de nadie.

lo que me da risa es como no he podido empacar mis cosas! empecé el martes (hoy es viernes) y ya llevo varias cosas listas, pero mi cuarto es un desmadre! no se que me tengo que llevar, llevo todo lo que pienso que ocupo y estoy dejando todo lo que pienso que no ocupo, pero el decidir si es una u otra cosa es mi dilema... aunque conseguí que cupiera toda mi ropa en solo 2 belices (y una mochila con mi ropa para el viaje), el resto de mis cosas son las que no se donde meter!

ok, aquí les va el itinerario para nuestro viaje, que va a ser lo más parecido a esto: nos vamos el DOMINGO!!! lo único malo es que nos perderemos una gran parte del Super Bowl, pero lo bueno es que no va a haber mucho tráfico ni línea para cruzar. mi mom y yo nos vamos a coachella para pasar la noche allá y el lunes, con lizeth, nos vamos a sacramento, el martes nos vamos a portland o 2 hrs. más a seattle (dependiendo si estamos cansados o con el tiempo), y luego el miércoles llegamos a Vancouver! mi mom y lizeth se quedán allá hasta el sábado en la mañana y se regresan llegando acá al sur el lunes 12 de feb. esto significa que mi papá se va a quedar solo por una semana, asi que ahí me lo cuidan, eh!

bueno, la verdad tengo muchas ganas de escribir toda mi experiencia aquí y espero que la disfruten al igual que yo. en cuanto me asiente bien allá voy a escribir mi primer blog desde Canadá, así que esten al pendiente!
